Relations Group Home Event Schedule

Hello all!

Our next event with Relations Group Home is approaching quickly. I have outlined below the schedule of events and what is needed.

Saturday, June 12 2010

11:00 - 11:40 In the hall to mingle and play a quick “ice breaker game”
11:40 - 12:15 Lunch at the Hall
12:20 - 1:00 Tour of the Church and a brief homily from Father
1:00 - 2:00 Outside games, volleyball**, tag football** ( there will be those that get “hot” and do not like sports, so we need to have people in the hall too and I will come up with some activities there. Any volunteers to take on this effort?
2:00 - 3:00 Water balloon game and Watermelon departure at 3:00

** If the weather ends up to be really hot, we will not do the sports activities and add on more water balloon activities

Meal:

  • 5 people to bring 15 cold cut sandwiches each for a total of 80* ( Could someone do tuna fish for our parishioners since this will be during the Apostles fast. No condiments-we will provide them separately
  • 8 bags of potato chips- lets stick with just regular potato chips, BBQ or Sour cream
  • 4 cases of bottled water already in ice chest or container and iced down
  • 5 watermelons
  • 4 bags of ice
  • 5 dozen cup cakes- Elaine Sames all
  • Lemonade ( church already has this)
  • Paper plates, utensils and cups provided by the church

I do need to get a count of our people attending for food planning purposes. Many times there as many of us as there are them. Which is good, I think the kids really enjoy this!

Activities:

  • We need someone to meet at Relations Group Home around 10:45 to “escort” them to the church. They have two vans but are a bit nervous on where we are, so I offered to do this for them.
  • A couple of people, males ?, to direct the tag football activity**
  • A couple of people, females ? to direct the volleyball activity**
